Northern Rivers local
Based in the region, so service on a system we installed is a drive across town.
Sized on your usage
Designed around what your place actually uses, not the largest array the roof will take.
Clear pricing agreed up front
We explain the system in plain terms, with clear pricing agreed up front. Quotes on request.
Capabilities
What we install
Grid connected solar, battery storage and full off-grid systems, plus service and fault finding on systems somebody else put up.
Grid connected solar
The standard rooftop system: panels, inverter, and what you do not use goes back to the grid. We size it around what your household actually uses through the day rather than around the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
System design sized to your usage
Panel and inverter supply and install
Grid connection paperwork handled
Tilt frames where the roof pitch needs them
Battery storage
Storing the middle of the day so you can use it at night, and in most cases keeping essential circuits alive when the grid drops out. We are Sigenergy specialists and accredited installers for Tesla and Enphase.
Sigenergy, Tesla and Enphase systems
Retrofit to an existing solar array
Backup circuits so the essentials stay on
Sizing based on your evening usage, not a brochure
Off-grid systems
Properties with no mains connection, or where the connection cost is higher than the system. Common enough in the hinterland. These need designing properly, because there is no grid to cover a bad assumption.
Full off-grid design and install
Battery banks and backup generation
Shed, studio and remote dwelling supply
Honest advice on what the system will not do
Service and fault finding
Inverter throwing an error, generation down on what it used to be, or a system installed by a company that is no longer around. We service and repair existing solar, whoever put it in.
Inverter faults and error codes
Underperforming or dead arrays
Isolator and switchgear replacement
Health checks on older systems

Panel replacement and array extensions

FAQ
Questions we get asked
Do I need a battery, or just solar?
It depends on when you use power. If the house is busy through the day, solar on its own does a lot of the work. If most of your usage is evenings, a battery is what lets you actually use what you generated. We look at your bill and usage pattern before recommending either.
Will my solar keep working in a blackout?
A standard grid connected system shuts down in a blackout, by design, so it cannot feed power into lines that someone may be working on. If you want power during an outage you need a battery with backup capability, wired so nominated circuits stay live. Say so early, because it changes how the system is put together.
What size system should I get?
The honest answer is that it depends on your usage, your roof, and whether a battery is in the plan. We would rather look at a recent bill and your roof than quote a number over the phone. Oversizing an array you never use is a common and expensive mistake.
Do you service systems you did not install?
Yes. A lot of our service work is on systems put in by companies that are no longer trading. Inverter faults, dead strings, failed isolators and general underperformance are all normal jobs for us.
Are you accredited?
Yes. We are SAA accredited for solar, Sigenergy specialists, and accredited installers for both Tesla and Enphase. Accreditation matters here: most rebates and warranties require the install to be done by an accredited installer.
What about rebates?
Federal and state incentives change regularly, so rather than print a number that goes stale we will tell you what applies to your system at the time you ask, and what the paperwork involves.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. Solar and battery systems come with a 10 year workmanship warranty covering installation labour, mounting, roof penetrations, cabling and terminations. Materials and components are covered by the manufacturers' warranties, and we handle those claims for you. The warranty transfers to a new owner if you sell inside that period. If something we did is not right, we come back and put it right.
How long does an install take?
A straightforward residential rooftop system is usually a day on site. Batteries, off-grid systems and anything needing switchboard work take longer. Grid connection approval is separate to the install and runs on the network's timeline, not ours.
